Mr. Eldridge is currently the Support Division Chief at the Defense Security Cooperation University (DSCU) – the Defense Department’s center of excellence for security cooperation and university for education and research on military issues relating to the management of military-to-military security cooperation efforts.
Since 2012 he has been a civilian employee with the Department of Defense, previously holding positions as the Director of Staff, Director of Academic Planning and Technology and the Director of Online Learning at the Defense Institute of Security Cooperation Studies (DISCS). Mr. Eldridge is a veteran of the United States Navy serving as a Surface Warfare Officer, retiring as a Commander in 2012. During his career he served in six ships and various shore commands, to include serving as Executive Officer (second in command) in two ships and one shore command and as Chief Staff Officer (also second in command) in another.
Mr. Eldridge holds a Master of Science in Information Systems from the Naval Postgraduate School and a Bachelor of Science in Quantitative Business Analysis from Indiana University. He is also a graduate of the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College.
His awards include the Defense Meritorious Service Medal, the Meritorious Service Medal (3), the Navy and Marine Corps Meritorious Commendation Medal (4) and the Navy Achievement Medal.
